Power button flex cable broken while disconnecting

I removed the flex cable attached to the power button cable and tried to attach it to a new power button cable, but the cable broke.

Should I buy a new flex cable?

Y not, u need to the connector to turn the phone or it wont turn on, each connector cable is important
