My Ipad mini 2 wont turn on! What to do?

One day I came back from the washroom and I saw my ipad mini 2 wont turn on. As in no signal of life. I started panicking but then I tried charging the ipad it charged then I saw the apple logo and it glitched out and again black screen. I tried this numerous times and everytime the screen grew a little dimmer and finally after a few tries It did not show any sign of life. The next day I tried again and got the same results. So then I gave up and put the ipad aside. After a few weeks I dont know what came to me but I tried to charge the ipad again. And then miraculously it showed the empty battery screen! After a few minutes it showed the apple logo too! but then a grey screen(it wasnt actually a grey screen it was a black screen but with the backlight on.) appeared there I pressed the home button and all the other buttons but still nothing happened then I tried force restarting the ipad it restarted but got stuck in the same grey screen and then it started looping i.e. It first showed the Apple logo and then the grey screen this happened again and again then I un plugged it from the charger. After a few days I got an idea for dfu mode and restore the ipad. I connected to my pc and then booted the ipad in dfu mode at a first few tries it was saying device disconnected when the install tried to start then I changed cables and everything worked as usual the apple logo appeared then the bar appeared but after that it went back to the empty battery page and I charged it for 2 days still no sign of life. I tries the dfu mode once again still the same results. The only thing different was now when I unplugged the charger it shows the empty battery with the asking to charge symbol at the bottom.
