LG UltraFine 5K Teardown

My LG UltraFine 5K just stopped working. I called around and was told that the likely problem was that the component that contains the USB ports had become dislodged and that to fix it would require a new component. The price of this component was prohibitively expensive.

Even assuming that a new component is required, I figure I might as well tear the thing apart and see what’s inside. Maybe I can try to fix it. The worst that could happen is that I mess up. It wouldn’t be more broken than it already is.

The question is: how do I take it apart? I’d think this was a common problem. But I can find no directions online. Does anyone know how to remove the display from the frame?
