The plug of my 60W MagSafe power adapter broke into pieces.

I have a 2012 MacBook Pro with a 60W MagSafe power adapter. I must have pulled a little too hard when the detachable plug from my adapter fell and broke into individual pieces, and I am not sure how to put it back together. The charger still works if I constantly push the adapter against the outlet. If I don’t, the adapter will fall to the ground. How do I make it stay into the outlet on its own? Please help. Thanks!

Sadly the charger really isn’t repairable. You just need to get a new one directly form Apple Apple 60W MagSafe Power Adapter (for MacBook and 13-inch MacBook Pro)

Don’t buy anything from Amazon, eBay, Crags List or other not Apple store as the chances are you’re going to get a knockoff charger which can harm your system and could also hurt you or worse!

I’ve told this story a few times so I won’t bore you with it. Lets just say it cost a company about two million because one of its employees bought one as he forgot his on an important business trip setting his hotel room afire!
