memory card is not working and the battery is not opening

Ok so if the battery compartment is not opening I would recommend checking for screws to on the compartment and using a flat head screwdriver to try pry it open. Once you get it open you should make sure the battery terminals are not corroded, if they are you should clean them, when placing the batteries in, make sure the minus side on the battery goes towards the spring on the terminal, and the plus side on the battery goes on the flat terminal.
