Charging problem after replace rear panel and dock connector

Hi:

I just change the rear panel, and the dock conector

from my iPhone 3GS model A1241.

Everything is working fine,

- on/off/home button

- /volume button/mute button

But when it's connect the iphone to the computer (Imac) or

wall adapter, never fill out the battery. The itunes

don't recognize iphone, so i can't do back back up data.

Before the replacement, the battery was working good

What can be wrong ?

Thanks

First I would check to make sure the dock assembly is connected properly and is sitting right on the logic board. Also check if it is getting an antenna signal and home button working.

If those check out you may want to look for pins missing in the dock or other debris causing an obstruction.

The cord you are using could be defective (if using the same cord).

I don't think it would be the battery in this case because iTunes isn't recognizing either.

Hello thanks for your info.

Yes i already check all this things (Home button - dock connector+logic board), and i have three cords and don't work with no one

Today i see more strange behavior with the battery,

the iphone bar shows like 40 % or 50% off the charge

so ... i put all day the iphone in ipod mode (playing forever)

and the iphone stay on play like 4 hours.

So i think the battery is working good but the iphone for some reason

don't reflect the really state off the batery

i don't know what part can have issues
