Why no oxygen is coming through the cannula

Most Oxygen concentrator flow issues are just a process of elimination. First make sure the cannula is not twisted underneath the chin. Next check your supply line (7’-50’ oxygen tubing connected to the cannula) to make sure it is not kinked up or caught under furniture. I would also check the humidifier bottle if you have one attached. The humidifier bottles will leak out from the top portion of the humidifier, where it screws onto the plastic bottle, and also the swivel nut that attaches to the machine. If you have a green christmas tree adapter check to make sure its not cracked. If all of these steps haven’t worked you may need your machine analyzed to see what’s going on.
