I ordered a new keyboard for my Macbook Air and when I was done with replacing the keyboard my mouse wouldnt move anymore and the keyboard just didnt work entirely.

A common issue is the trackpad to logic board gets damaged from the a failing battery (swollen). This cable carries both the keyboard and trackpad signals to the logic board.
