SLI perm on, Screen is not working at all, but autobooting is Working.
I recently had to go trough the issue here -> System not booting, no boot chime, sleep light solid on
and I am wondering for a semi-permenate fix before I take it in for repair.
I can’t wait to heat up my own macbook to use it all the time.
Questa è una buona domanda?

Hold that thought! Only the Early 2009 and Mid 2009 have the NVIDEA chip set. The older systems use the Intel intergraded graphics: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 950 or X3100.
Plug in your systems S/N here: EveryMac - Lookup to find out which model you have.

This is My MacBook: 13” MacBook "Core 2 Duo" 2.16 GHz White (2007).
It still has the same issues. It could be a screen replacement, but I'm not sure yet.

Using a flashlight pressed against the Apple Logo on the lid are you able to see the faint outlines of your desktop and its icons?
If you do that aims us to the logic board backlight circuit on it (repairable). The SLI lit after a fresh boot up also implies you have a deeper logic board failure (need a new board)!
