My iMac is restarting randomly - Panic Error

Hi! a few days ago i replace my iMac HDD to SSD (iMac 21.5" EMC 2889 (Late 2015). And i put a Kingston A400 240GBSSD) and after that im having some issues..

My iMacs restarts randomly and when turn on again im getting this error:

You'll need to tell us which of the many iMac's you have iMac systems

Also what was the drive you put in make & model


@danj Yes i forgot that detail.. sorry. I had an 21.5" EMC 2889 (Late 2015).

And i put a Kingston A400 240GBSSD

At this point I think you’ll need to reformat the drive and install a fresh copy of the OS via Internet recovery. Don’t use cloning software as I’m suspecting that did you in.

I've used a Time Machine so that can be the problem?


First install a fresh OS via Internet recovery make sure the system is working after that step. Install any needed updates then validate the system is still working, then restore the apps from the Apps Store and the original media or web sites you know are clean. I would do a few at a time so you can isolate which one messed you up.

You likely have something a miss on the TimeMachine backup.
