1 Kingston HyperX Cloud Core - broken 3.5mm jack
Greetings community!
FIRST :: I apologize but this question is related to the Kingston HyperX Cloud Core Gaming Headset (KHX-HSCC-BK) -NOT- the Cloud II or the CloudX. The Cloud Core was not listed as an option when I was choosing a device for this question.
The 3.5mm jack broke off in my son’s Xbox One controller. I managed to get the piece out of the controller but have no idea what type of replacement jack I need to purchase. I have cut the main cord back to see the wires (picture attached).
This is what I have found after hours of rummaging around reading the threads of other people who have similar problems.
Xbox supports the CTIA wiring standard
Blue is Left
Green is Right
Red/White is Mic
Copper is Ground
Can I fix the Headphone 3.5mm that only works in Certain positions that helped me the most but I am STILL fuzzy on what I need 3.5mm jack I need to purchase & where each of my wires will need to be soldered. Can someone link a suitable 3.5mm jack from Amazon or wherever? I would be so thankful.

I may not have explained myself as well as I could have in my original question.
The 3.5mm audio/mic jack broke in half and I cut the rest of the plug off of the cable. Even after I separated the individual wires, I was still unable to determine what type of 3.5mm jack would make an adequate replacement. So, I decided to stop spinning my wheels and try to find the people who have already done what I’m trying to do.
Now I’m no expert when it comes to soldering or electrical, however, I have made dozens of MicroUSB & USB-C cables from scratch. I even went as far as customizing the paracord I pulled over the cable for each of them. Haha.
I just need two things to continue this project.
1) maybe a couple of adequate replacement 3.5mm jacks - preferably with a 90-degree angle to prevent them from bending while the controller rests against the body
2) the proper way to solder the wires shown in the pictures I attached to the replacement 3.5mm jack

Hi Jay. Unfortunately I feel I wouldn’t be able to give you a confident enough answer of what u need either and wouldn’t wanna tell you what to buy unless I was 100% sure I was right in what I was suggesting. I would just wait for someone else to reply, or try somewhere else like Reddit. They will have many subreddits for this kinda topic and really is always very active and responsive. @tripaphonic

@olszha Thanks again Harvey. This headset has been damaged for several months and I'm just now getting around to handling the issue. I'm not in any hurry, however, I believe I'll take your advice and post the same question on Reddit to increase my odds at figuring this out.
