JBL pulse won't charge with original charger or other USB chargers

Hi, my JBL pulse would not charge with the original charger or any other USB chargers. Just before this the battery seems to be holding the charges quite well. In fact, there is still some juice left in the battery but it just wouldn’t charge. The USB port on the JBL looks quite worn but I am not sure if it is a connectivity issue. Is there something that I can do to verify without opening it up? What should I do?

You can purchase USB ammeter such as :

https://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-Digital-LED...

this will tell you if the battery is taking a charge. The ammeter should show a current draw if it’s still good. You then can then decide if you want to proceed with a battery replacement.
