rdkl is right we need more info but meanwhile try booting up holding down you Shift key and let us know your results. Also a history of the machine always helps.

Got the photo. Please give the last the figures of your serial number located in your battery compartment.
I uploaded your photo so others can see it. Please hook up to an external monitor and see if the problem persists on the other screen.

I don't have much history about this MacBookPro A 1211 just got it. Tryed booting up holding the shift same screen but no file blinking.
Trying to Insert a picture? All I get is a Blue and White Strip Screen?
