Samsung IMC701 icemaker not making any ice

Hi. I have a GE branded Samsung french door fridge with a bottom freezer drawer. The ice maker is in the upper left of the fridge compartment. It hasn’t made ice for about 2 weeks. nothing happens when the test button is pushed. Should I replace the ice maker or the control board first? The ice maker is Samsung model IMC701. The GE part# is WR30X10097. Water pressure seems good. Fridge temp is set at 38 and the freezer temp is set to 2. I cleaned the coils recently.

Some more details: I measured the temperature of the ice maker compartment and it was around 10F. I read somewhere that it needs to be 9 or colder. I turned the fridge and freezer down a couple of degrees. the next morning there were 7 ice crescents in there. the next night it made a few more. so its trying. I think maybe the unit needs a good defrosting because its not getting enough cold are to the ice maker area.
