Hello, I’m using the iPhone X front camera for facial motion capture. I’m mounting it to a helmet in front of the face, but I realise I don’t need the whole device there, just the camera module.
Is it possible to get an extension flex cable so I could store the main device somewhere else on the body and just keep the camera module in front of the face?

I would strongly advise against such a product if it was available. I don’t even think it is available because of the issues you would face like getting the display to close and such.

Yeah I thought it was a bit of a long shot - presume the cables are proprietry so there's no easily available extension.
@ryigarry there are some cable extensions available but they're usually just a few inches long and are only meant for testing. The cables found in phones are flat ribbon cables which can be torn easily.
