Magsafe2 not lit and not charging

I spilled liquid on my Macbook Air mid 2013 13” and it failed to start up a few years ago.

I took it to a local computer repair service and they installed a new (non-OEM) charge port, but could not fix the problem. Now taking it to Apple is out of the question because they won’t touch it with non-OEM parts in there.

I’ve now placed in a new battery, a new Magsafe2 charger, reset the SMC, yet still the computer will not charge and the magsafe light does not turn on.

What should my next step be?
