IPad restarts during use

My iPad screen died on me. One morning the screen just wouldn't work at all. I bought a 3rd party one and replaced it… Everything was looking fine, but for some reason it will restart during use. The thing is, the iPad boots a lot faster after restart that when I shut it off and turning it on again. I did update the ios and did 2 factory resets. Any ideas?
