Screen keeps turning off after seconds

I’ve set the screen to only sleep after a minute of inactivity and even tried never, but if I don’t touch the screen for 2 seconds it goes to sleep. This is making reading anything very inconvenient and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

change it to 5 min or larger value. and then revert back.

Or Open Settings -> apps - > look for settings (Then Clear data - everything). of course all your settings maybe lost.

Another idea is factory reset - BUT PLEASE - remove your google account before your factory reset. Otherwise you may get into other problems.
