JBL speaker wont turn on nor charge correctly

I have this JBL speaker from 2016 (Flip 3) and It will not turn on unless it is plugged in, if it is not plugged in, it will not work at all. But when I plug it in the power button lights up white and the charging light turns a solid red, then the power button light turns off and the charging light blinks white, but it does not seem to charge properly, it shows its charging, but its in a infinite loop of a blinking white charging light. I have left it plugged in for 6+ hours but no progress with charging. I have tried reseting it also. Help?
