Hello everyone,
I have a mid 2009 MacBook pro with 2GB of extra ram that I haven’t used in years. Going on maybe 5 years now. I forgot I even had it. I moving some things around and stumbled upon it.
From what I remember, I need to replace the HD. And possibly the battey.
Assuming its just the HD that needs to be replaced, is it even worth it at this point?

You could drop in a backward compatible SSD - SATA II (3.0 Gb/s) and it would make a very fine computer for most things.
A 250 or 500 GB drive would work nicely and are on deep sales right now.

Thanks Mayer! Which charging cable do this Mac need? I can't seem to find it and the google search is a bit overwhelming.
