Replacement LCD connector does not fit

I just wanted to replace my cracked Surface Pro 4 screen however after I successfully removed the old screen I figured out that the LCD connector(? single flex cable from the middle of the mainboard). Does not fit and the connector on the cable seems to be 3-4 pins wider. I got this surface replaced by Microsoft in early 2018 and I looked online at other LCDs for this device(1724) It seems this device simply has another connector cable which looks like the Surface Pro 5 cable. Should I just buy a Surface Pro 4(1724) cable, as It seems to fit on the mainboard and the display?

Another problem is that I ordered this LCD from china via ebay(paypal from germany) and the display has some scratched and dents on the backside. The seller wants me to pay the shipping cost to send It back but actually I’m quite sure I never get my money back because most Chinese shops are scammers.
