After a short fall, the rear 1x camera ceased working - just gives a black screen. The 2x works but only sometimes. Had the camera replaced with a new one (EXPENSIVE!) and still have the exact same problem. Any suggestions as to a fix?

You can try a system reset, just in case the fall caused a glitch, unlikely but it’s a fast and easy try, or possibly a board issue, but that’s not a DIY repair.

I did that several times already. No help. It may be a board issue. If you know the circuitry to those cameras, maybe you can tell me if they have separate power connections on the board?
@cameraquandry I'm not much of a photographer and I couldn't pinpoint exactly which circuit does what in detail, but the 1x and 2x are performed both by the same right camera. The other left one is used for portraits for sure, don't know exactly what else in detail. Hope this answers what you had in mind.
