LCD screen dark on Cannon EOS Rebel T3
My LCD screen is dark on the edges making it difficult to see the images, do I have to purchase a new one? Is that the only option?

@reynph sounds like a bad backlight/screen issue. Yes, at this time replacement is pretty much the only option. This video may just help with that task.
