My iphone shut off and is in recovery mode. This happened to me once before and i had to go to an apple store to fix it. I feel like there is a way i can fix this myself without going to apple.
Does anyone know how to get 3Gs iphone out of recovery mode? When i connect my phone to itunes, it does not turn on and itunes does not acknowledge my phone is connected.
Please help!!!

When I was jailbreaking an iPhone 3G I ran into this same issue. I used the program Tiny Umbrella, a favorite of jailbreakers everywhere.

Hello， friend. You can use ReiBoot to push your iPhone 3GS out of recovery mode. Only one click to achieve that. No need to connect to iTunes and no need of holding home/lock button.

leah have you tried iRecovery (more info http://www.ihackintosh.com/2009/07/ireco... ) or iReb (more info http://ih8sn0w.com/index.php/products/vi... ) to see if you can kick it out of the recovery loop?
