Gba cartridge black screen

Hi, may I know if anyone can help here. I just brought a new gba cartridge with some problems that I found. When I slot in the game cartridge to my gba sp, the game work at first but when you play at the middle of the game, it turns black screen. The same thing happen I borrow my sister gba console, her console work and the results still the same as I mention above. It is not the console problem than the game cartridge itself, but save file still exists.
