I have had my WonderBoom for about 2 weeks. Everything works fine except when I go to check the battery level by pressing the volume buttons simultaneously, nothing happens.
The volume buttons themselves work when turning the music up or down.
Any ideas?

Double click on the buttons simultaneously. Don’t hold for 3 sec like they tell you!

I think you’ve confused your self. The WonderBoom does not offer voice services as such it can’t tell you the power levels, the UE Boom series speakers offers that.
The WonderBoom does offer a tone which tells you the power level based on its tone when you press the volume buttons.
Try a Hard Reset: Press the volume up (+), the volume down (-), the Bluetooth button, and the power button on the top simultaneously. Hold for approximately 15 seconds.

I do feel very confused! The user manual suggests I press the + and - buttons down simultaneously to check battery level. What is supposed to happen when I press them?
Apparently there is supposed to be 3 different tones indicating wether battery level is high, medium or low. That doesn’t happen when I press the buttons.
I get the 3 ascending tones but I don't know what they mean. How can Of tell if the battery level, is high medium or low, just by the tones? How can you tell when the battery is fully charged?

My original Wonder Boom only offers one tone multiple times.
