MacBookPro does not run on battery
My mbp can run on power adapter and charges the battery, amber light, and green when completely charged. But when I remove the charger the mbp dies.
The leds on the side indicate the battery is charged. I can’t see any problems on the logic board but don’t know exactly where to look.
Can I check something on the logic board that is damaged?
Update (03/30/2019)
No problem with the battery. Maybe some extra info. I replaced my Logic board with one af a 2e hand mbp. The logic board has a problem with the GPU but does not matter to me. I have a feeling that the previous owner tried to fix it with heating up the bord. I’m running Linux Mint on it now without any problem except for the battery. I have macOS still on an external drive with gpu disabled true software. So I could still run coconut.
So I think something in the locig board is damaged that prevents the use of the battery without the charger. Some help in finding the faulty component would be helpfull

I had a damage display port connector on my logic board (with faulty GPU). Long story short, I did not put the connector right back and it burned away togetter wiht the connector of th LCD :-(. I replaced the connector form the LCD but the one on the logic board it's not that easy. So I came across a not booting second hand mbp on a website and purchased that to use that logic board to repair mine. That worked but also has a faulty GPU. I don't know the history from this mbp but noticed that someone has been worked on the faulty gpu. Still the logic board is working without the faulty gpu but has an issue with the use of the battery. Maiby something small that can be fixed.
As I said, it charges and shows all leds on the side but when the power supply is removed the mac is deadth. Also the leds on the side are not showing anymore until you use the power supply again. Than everything works.
