I have a Motorola G5 and when I found to plug my headphones I bought a new pair just to make sure. I have tried to adjust the thing that plugs in, it was working like that for a little bit the I can't get sound on head phones any more. It's the plug in at top of cell phone. Please help thanks

I believe that it might be a problem with the headphone jack or the connector on the motherboard. Get that looked at and that might fix your problem!

Could I do it myself? Or should I take it to a place that fixes iPhone etc

Yeah, you might just be better off taking it to a place that repairs these phones, because the replacement part might be a little hard to find, but if you could find a headphone jack and a guide on how to replace it, you might be able to do it.

It sounds like something is wrong with your head phone jack try repairing it and it should work. Unfortunately there are no guides on ifixit for the head phone jack but you can follow this repair witch should bring you close to removing the head phone jack.Motorola Moto G5 Motherboard Replacement
