I recently purchased a JBL Xtreme2 from Amazon. I got it out the box and it would not turn on. I plugged it to the power and it plays perfectly. The battery charges and it is full according to the JBL application. I tried reseting it but it still does not turn on when not plugged. The speaker is brand new.

That would be the best solution but I brought the packed box with me to the Philippines for vacation in the Philippines and won't be back in California for two more months.

Its worth it to just have amazon replace it for you.
Let them know the issue and thy should replace it without a problem.
