I have a LG VX10000S phone and if I make or recieve a call I can hear the other person but they cannot hear me. I bought the microphone part and I want to install it now. I need to know how to open the phone without damaging it, install the new part and put it back together.

You might want to take a good look at the service manual. It will tell you all you ever wanted to know (and way more) about your phone. Not a light read, but very informative. There is an excellent teardown for your phone on here Good Luck.

not yet I have not had time to review. I don't want to open too much of the phone, just the area that the microphone is in. Is it in the tough screen part or the keyboard part?
