no speaker sound after power connector assembly replacement

I have a Galaxy Tab A SM-P550. charging port stopped working. Purchased replacement assembly. Installed following IFIXIT procedure Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 Charging Port Replacement. After reassembly charging works but no sound from speakers. Sound in headphone and bluetooth audio works. Re-installed original part; same thing, no speaker sound, headphone and bluetooth work. Speaker sound worked before power connector assembly replacement.

Used S/W tool to disable wired headphone detect. no speaker sound.

soft reset. no speaker sound

returned device settings to factory. no speaker sound.

Is it possbile I damaged both speakers? - How to know?

Does the wired headphone detect pass through one of the flex connectors on the power connector assembly (short would diable speakers).

Any ideas where I could go with this?

I have debugging experience (EE), Can you get schematic for power connector assembly?

Maybe Paulina Nguyen could ehlp with this. She wrote the connector replacement procedure for IFIXIT.
