Two beeps when waking from sleep?

Yes! Hello!

My mac has started doing two beeps whenever I open it after it's been closed. It's coming from the speakers (testing it with headphones, I got the sound from there as well). It occasionally delays or overlaps on itself as well and it's just disconcerting.

My mac seems to be running fine, aside from earlier when I ran an update it was doing some odd startup behaviors and some slowing on websites on occasion (which occurred before the beeping started).

Any help or even possibilities are appreciated, thank you!
