i am having an issue where the phone is creating an echo when it calls out or in. On the phone itself you can hear an echo but the caller on the other line can. is there an easy way to fix this problem?

Hey Christina, is this something that has started recently? It could be many things.
Network problems
Signals coming in from multiple systems
Long distance calls
The other person on speaker or hands free kit
And many more.
You could rule a few of these out by trying your sim in another phone immediately after experiencing the issue.

so if its off speaker and it still has the issue what does that mean? Could it possibly be the mic? did replace one mic and it seemed to fix it. its several devices not just one. this is not a new issue for us and so no one has been able to isolate the issue.
I have this problem with everyone who calls in. I didn't have wifi calling activated so that isn't it. No one else in my family has this problem and it started when I got a new Samsung Galaxy S9 phone.
Also when I call out. The only way I can speak to anyone is to have the phone on speaker, then the echo goes away for the person on the other end. I tried fiddling with the volume of the call and that didn't make any difference. HELP!
Check to see if you have hearing aid compatibility activated. This solved my problem we turned off.

I can't stand when phone has a echo 🙄 now it's every time I use it .people be telling me to call on a nothing phone please but I don't have another phone this going make me buy another kind of phone. Please help me to fix this problem 🙏🏽

I would say its a problem with you’r service.

how do you turn off wifi calling
open Settings and tap on 'Network & internet,' then locate and tap on the 'Calls & SMS' option. Next, toggle the switch next to the 'Wi-Fi Calling' option to disable it.

Why is everyone else telling me that they hear an echo when I call them but I don't hear it can someone help me on fixing this problem
