ibeats wire snapped for no reason, can I re-attach it?

I bought these last summer and for some reason the area that i put blue linings around snapped off, now i can only listen to music with one earphone instead of 2.

I really want to listen to music again with both earbuds and my question is how can i reconnect the wire and make it work again, and if it is even possible?

i used to cut wires and re-attach them on other electronics so i guess this will maybe work for my earphones too.

You can try, but it is not sure you will be able to fix it. You will need to find out if there is any issue in the cable first, if not, just reconnect it and make sure it stay there. For the 95% of the chances, it will not work, but trying does not harm!

I will have to open the small box where the cable gets divided in two and reconnect it there, be carefull with the other earphone side cable
