Can I switch to an msata

Hey,

I would like to replace a faulty hdd with an old mSata using this adapter https://www.banggood.com/MSATA-Mini-PCI-...

plus a 2x female 44 pin ribbon cable to connect it to the ipods cable.

I know its a bit of a ghetto mod but will this work?

@naibaf definitely an "interesting " mod. There is no reason why it would not work but we do not have the pinout for the adapter. Hopefully it'll match the one on your iPod. For that price you really can't go wrong. Worst case scenario, you'd have to skip your Caffè Latte for a day ;-)
