BNX100, why can anybody connect to my device? can I put a password on?

I dont actually have the water dancing speakers i just couldnt find the BNX100 bluetooth speakers but I was playing music through my BNX100 bluetooth speaker and my connection went because my next door neighbour connected to it. is it possible for me to put a password on the device so only authorize peple can connect.
