Dual flash which Amber one is not working..

Dear All,

my iphone 6 device flash is working on Video and flashligh but When I try to take a picture with flash, White led is working properly but Amber one can not be working.. Because of this, taking a picture with flash is being dark...

Do you have any solution for this problem ?

Is it causes from the mainboard problem or just a flex cable ?

I'll be appreciate your answers and help..

Sounds like your LED unit maybe bad. Here's the IFIXIT guide: Sostituzione gruppo cavo pulsante di accensione iPhone 6.

If you can get a copy of the iPhone 6 schematics you might be able to test the voltages at the connector to be sure. Otherwise it would be the driver logic on the logic board.

Do keep in mind the yellow LED is to balance the color. If its not firing off the image should be on the bluer side.

I hope that LED has problem :)

I' ll get the power button / LED flex cable then I' ll test it..

But, really strange problem.. :)

I have opposite problem Amber LED is working, the White doesn’t.

It is not flex cable problem as the PP STROBE DRIVER TO LED COOL rail is open line to ground but PP STROBE DRIVER TO LED WARM is around 3M Ohms to ground. It's likely you need to replace U1602 flash driver chip. Be careful it is close to CPU.
