On Samsung phones, there is a Samsung account backup feature which allows users to sync their data directly. Here, if you have made a makeup with this account before, it would be very easy for you to get back the data after factory reset cause you can simple restore them from the backup.
Go to Settings and choose Accounts in this section.
Then, you will get a list of accounts on the screen and you can tap on Samsung account option among them.
Elect Restore and you will see some file types. Just tick the wanted files and click on Restore now to begin restoring.
Now a pop-up prompt will appear to ask you confirm the option. You can hit ok to proceed.

Try to connect your Samsung Galaxy S8 to PC or Laptop then install Recuva to Laptop or PC then recover your data.

Sometimes, we need to factory reset our Samsung phones because the phone is freezing, cannot work properly and other reasons. Whatever the reasons, data on your Samsung phone can all be erased after the factory reset. And if you forget to backup your important data including contacts, text messages and photos inside your Samsung device, it seems that you will lose them forever.
The effective solution may help: Coolmuster Android Data Recovery, which is capable of recovering data from Samsung Galaxy S8 even without any backup. It works effectively in retrieving deleted and formatted data on Samsung, including contacts, text messages, photos, videos, music, call logs, etc.
