Why doesn’t my car stay started
Why is my 99 Rav 4 starting then dying within 15 seconds. Also had irratic idle before this problem.

hi
does this occur (engine stall) when idle or while running?
is the temperature reading too high?
do you suspect any leak?
it could be a few things i.e. fuel related, air related, temperature related and so on. Give us more clue to we can make a better picture out of it.
In any case, it is best to get a mechanic to check your car.
