What is the normal speed for the CPU fan?
My CPU fan on my A1224 2.0Ghz iMac runs at 3400 to 3500 RPM is that normal? Is their a way to slow it down.

What's the temp on the CPU? I have a 20" with the 2.66GHz, only have Google Chrome running and my CPU fan is running at 1197-1199rpm's. The CPU Heatsink is currently at 101F and the CPU is at 103F, according to iStat Pro. I can't really give you an answer without knowing what the temps are...
