Is repairing an unresponsive home button possible?

My Fitbit Blaze is acting finicky. Touch screen works, however once I've navigate to a category such as "stopwatch" for example. I have no way of returning to the main screen, as the home button ( stand alone button on the left side ) doesn't respond.

Any suggestions of how to repair?
