havwin 7 upgrade to win 10 ati mobility switchable graphics wont work

I have (had) an hp pavilion dv 7 with ati radeon mobility 4250 & 5470 switchable graphics . I upgrade to win 10 it some however after about 1yr my system became corrupted & unstable; so i ended up reformatting the disc & did a clean install of win 10 home edition .

When i did the clean install for win 10 i lost the win 7 files that contained the drivers for the radeon graphics, they were wiped away! HDMI not working and a number of games do not support the low end graphics .

I am stuck with using the microsoft basic display adapter. When i boot the system i get a message that sais: (The AMD graphics basic display adapter did not load or is not available please find the right adapter for your system) have spent many hours trying to fix this over the last 12 months without success! If there is a way to fix this problem in Win 10 that your aware of, I would be extremely grateful if you shared it with me!

The alternative would be to save whats important and reinstall win 7 which was originally installed on my laptop!
