system UI has stopped
A message suddenly appeared on my screen saying " unfortunately system UI has stopped " What do I do now, my phone has been rendered useless.

Restart it by holding down power for 50 seconds or until it powers down. Then hold it again to power up.

This temporarily makes the phone useable again but later this happens again. How do you get rid of this message so it doesn't reoccur?
