replaced the keyboard and cant connect trackpad cable to motherboard. there is a flip clip on the motherboard but it wont connect to the black square from the trackpad. is there a blow up?

You mean this?
You have to drop the block onto the pins just square or you don't get connection.

thanks. thats it. the other photo showed the black square in a different location than mine.
