Acura acceleration jerking or bouncing

When I'm accelerating from both and stop or trying to pick up speed my RPM needle bounces/jerks up and down a quarter of an RPM. It also does this while I'm trying to maintain a specific speed. For example: if I push on the gas pedal just right it's bounces from 1.5 RPM's to 1.75, it does this until I either push to accelerate or take my foot off the pedal. It's a 3.7 liter V6 SH-AWD.
