I have the same problem that if I take out the spark plug to turns over fine. Have spark, and fuel. But when I replace the spark plug, it will not do a complete turn over. It actually comes up solid. Can continue to complete cycle by hand turning the motor. Turn over again and on compression stroke it comes up solid again . Like cylinder is full of fluid. But none in there. Need advice. Thanks

dwnndr, you really should have posted this as a question and not a answer! In your case it sounds like the valves require adjustment to aid in the compression release so engine can turn over more freely. Link below may help.
