New to microsoldering and screwed up, a few questions

Like the title says, I'm trying to teach myself microsoldering, which may not have been the best idea, but hey it's whatever.

I'm working on an iCloud locked iPhone that I purchased for dirt cheap in the event that I did screw up. Anyways, I removed the touch IC chip, cleaned the solder pads, cleaned logic board with alcohol, and then let it dry. Hooked it up to the phone and when I try to power it on (for the first time at least) the screen flashes for about a millisecond with the "dead battery" sign on it and goes off and won't come back on. I realize that I seriously screwed up, which is why I bought the iCloud locked phone in the first place, so that this could happen at little financial loss to me.

My main question though, is if this can be repaired? What do I need to look for on the logic board itself, and what would I need to replace? If someone has a breakdown of the specific functions of chips/transistors that I could look at, that would be WONDERFUL. Any and all help appreciated, thanks guys!

A thousand things can go wrong, without a detailed inspection, nobody will know.

One answer from here certainly cannot begin to teach you about any useful diagnosis methods, you're looking at years of experience and expertise.
