Why are some graphics blacked out in games?

When I open some gaming apps (eg. Boom Beach, Shopkins World) on my tablet about half the graphics are black. Why is this happening and how can I fix it so I can see the graphics in colour?

It sound like the application was installed incorrectly

I recommend that you remove the application then reinstall it
