New SSHD, time machine not recognizing drive

Hello,

I purchased a new ssHD for my Mac mini, and after following your awesome and detailed instructions, my computer does not recognize the new drive on which to install the time machine backup.

Any recommendations?

Thanks for the quick response! I neglected to clip the SATA connector fully into place, and then used disk utiiity "erase" option to prep the SSHD for use as startup disk as outlined in this article:
