Can I leave a screw off of the LCD plate?

Is it ok to leave a screw off of the the LCD metal plate because I lost one while putting my LCD plate back on and I'm not sure if the phone will be ok or not

Update (11/23/2016)

@lpfaff1 Yeah I got the screw that i lost from a repair shop and it wouldn't stay in so I assume when I went to do a different screw it must've fell somewhere. Would it be the best to keep the screw in one of the middle holes?

@nabbycat , Michael, if other screws are securing plate well, it would probably be OK with one missing. If you want to be sure, drop into a cell/computer repair shop and grab a screw, they have lots of extra's and may just give it to you, just have one from your phone so they can match it, as you want the correct size. Good luck.

I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

@nabbycat , if it holds the plate flatter using a middle hole, then yes. Good luck with your device.

NO. Put in all the screws. don't do a half-rear job.

buy a complete set of iphone 6 screws on amazon. Use a super precise digital caliper to select the one of the right length. then put that in. Don't try any more screws from your repair shop, because it could damage your threads. And if you're really really familiar with loctite, use some loctite on the screw, that is, if it already had loctite on it.

All companies, even apple, want to save as much money as possible. That screw is there for a reason. If it weren't, they wouldn't have spent so much money making a million of those screws, shipping them, milling out the holes in the chassises, de burring the holes, loctiting the screw, screwing it in, so forth
